Research Focuses

  • Motivation and goal changes across the lifespan
  • Motivational changes underlying prosocial behaviors across the lifespan
  • Meaningful engagement in older adulthood

Building upon the background of both prosocial behavior and lifespan goal changes, my current research interest focuses on delving deeper into social behaviors, particularly prosocial behaviors, among older adults, and how the underlying motivations change as people age. By studying these changes, I hope to contribute to a better understanding of the changing trajectories of social behaviors and underlying motivations across the lifespan, and shed light on promoting positive social engagement among the aging population.
