PRC Lecture: "Psychological Burden in the Population"

The final event in the Population Research Center lecture series “Fokus Menschen: Wie Wissenschaft die Gesellschaft erforscht” addresses the question of why many people experiencing psychological distress do not use existing support services, or only do so at a late stage – and how access to effective help can be improved.

Markus Wolf and Birgit Watzke will provide insights into current research on mental health, barriers to care, and the effective design of support services. The focus will be on how people in distressing situations can be better reached and supported.

The event is open to everyone interested. Please note the lecture will be held in German.

Date: 28 May 2026
