14.01.2025New Micro Innovation Grant: A Documentary about Chronification of Mental Disorders

The UZH Teaching Fund (ULF) Awarded our Chair with the “Micro Innovation” Grant for Filming a Documentary related to the Bachelor’s Seminar “Chronification of Mental Disorders.” Acting as primary supervisors, Dr. Marie Drüge and Nick Kabrel will collaborate with Elvira Isenring from the UZH Media Production Team and a group of student assistants on filming a short documentary. The central idea behind the project consists of constructing a coherent narrative based on interviews with people who suffer from a chronic mental disorder, top researchers in the field, and practitioners specializing in chronification. The aim of the movie is to try to connect the dots between different agents within a system and answer the main question of the seminar: ”Why a mental health disorder becomes chronified."
