My name is Ilena Fruchi, and I am a Master’s student at the University of Zurich. My Master’s thesis focuses on bereavement, with a particular interest in the trajectory of grief symptoms over time and the influence of social context. I find it very exciting to be able to explore the topic of loss and contribute, even in a very small way, to a deeper understanding of how to better support individuals during the grieving process. Gaining more knowledge and deepening my understanding has accompanied me throughout my studies in psychology and has been a source of great motivation. Outside of my studies, I am very fond of literature, spending time outdoors with my dog, or relaxing through yoga.
