My name is Gaia, and I am 24 years old, originally from Ticino. My master's thesis, titled "Exploring the Embodiment and Perception of Grief Emotions: A Pilot Study of Cultural Variations Between Ukrainian and Swiss Populations," explores how bereaved individuals experience grief-related emotions on a physiological level. Additionally, the study investigates whether the embodiment of these emotions is universally shared across cultures. I have a strong interest in clinical psychology, and in the future, I hope to gain experience and knowledge in the field of psychiatry. Outside of academic life, I enjoy traveling and doing sports.
