Professorship for Child and Adolescent Health Psychology

Prof. Dr. Markus Landolt

Welcome!

Our research is mainly focused on the psychological consequences of illness, injuries and malformations among children and adolescents, and their families. Particularly, we are interested in all aspects of medical trauma, pediatric psychotraumatology in general, and in health-related quality of life issues. Moreover, we are conducting studies on early, secondary preventive psychological interventions in injured children. Most of our studies are located at the University Children’s Hospital in Zurich, where Prof. Landolt holds a position as Head of Pediatric Psychology. Our professorship maintains close collaborations with research groups in Norway, Australia, the U.S., and Germany.
