Jacopo obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science and a Master’s in Data Science from the university of Trento, Italy. Within the MULTICAST project, his research focuses on developing models to predict suicidal ideation by integrating a longitudinal and multimodal set of predictors including smartphone passive sensing data, EMA, video, speech and language features. As part of the large and interdisciplinary Sinergia - MULTICAST consortium, he also works on prototyping digital Ecological Momentary Interventions targeting key mechanisms involved in suicidality.
Given his diverse background, his research interests lie at the intersection between clinical psychology, knowledge representation and reasoning, NLP/NLU, and (explainable) AI.
