Valerie studied psychology at Humboldt University of Berlin. For her Master thesis at Charité University Hospital she investigated trajectories of Resilience Reactions. She is currently a PhD student in the CRPP Synapse & Trauma group. Her research focus lies on the prediction and long term development of intrusive memories in PTSD and Cocaine Use Disorder.
