My research is being funded by Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Students (FCS) through Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship Program. My PhD research focuses on emotion regulation in depression patients using real time fMRI based closed-loop amygdala neurofeedback. I am also interested in studying the changes in emotion perception ability of the patients due to neurofeedback intervention and the behavioral changes associated with it using facial electromyography (fEMG).
