Evaluation research is applied research and entails the systematic collection, analysis, and evaluation of information on the need, implementation, effect, and benefit of targeted intervention measures and information campaigns. Evaluation research uses social scientific methods, and it is diverse, close to the world of practice, and obliged to deliver results that are of immediate usefulness. The Social and Health Psychology section is regularly commissioned by private and public institutions to conduct evaluations – especially in the area of health.
