International Research Meeting: Investigating On-Task Metacognitive Monitoring and Control

On September 16 and 17, 2024, the research group “Metacognitive Development During Childhood and Adolescence” from the Department of Psychology at the University of Zurich will host a research meeting focused on the theme “Investigating On-Task Metacognitive Monitoring and Control.”
The objectives of this meeting are to present our methodologies and the data we’ve collected, exchange ideas, learn from one another, and fine-tune our approaches in preparation for an upcoming longitudinal study.

We are honored to have several distinguished international experts in the field of on-task measurement of metacognition joining us:

  • Prof. Dr. Roger Azevedo (University of Central Florida, USA)
  • Prof. Dr. Tamara van Gog (Utrecht University, Netherlands)
  • Dr. Lydia Laninga-Wijnen (University of Groningen, Netherlands, and University of Turku, Finland)
  • Prof. Dr. Nancy Perry (University of British Columbia, Canada)
  • Prof. Dr. Phil Winne (Professor Emeritus, Simon Fraser University, Canada)
