The Fall LIFE Academy is taking place October 11-13, 2021 in Zurich. Participants from Zurich and Berlin will be physically present, while participants from Michigan and Virginia will participate remotly. Participants, who travel to Zurich, will be accommodated for the overnight stays at the Leonardo Boutique Hotel Rigihof (Universitätstrasse 101, 8006 Zürich).

The Academy will take place remotely for all on October 11, 12, and 13, each day from 2:30 pm Zurich time (8:30 am Ann Arbor / Charlottesville time) until 7:30 pm Zurich time (1:30 pm Ann Arbor / Charlottesville time).

In the mornings, the Berlin and Zurich fellows will have the possibility to self-organize meetings with each other, or meet with the faculty in Zurich.

Fellows: Please indicate if you will present a poster or talk. The time slot a talk is 20 minutes. We suggest to split this time evenly between presentation and discussion. There will also be poster sessions that resemble an actual in person poster session and allow the presentation and discussion of each poster.

Faculty: Due to the time restrictions, we are planning to have brief self-introductions of each of the attending faculty but no faculty lectures.

For those coming from Berlin: Fellows will arrive on Sunday (Oct. 10). Faculty may arrive on Monday until 2:00 pm. Date of departure is Thursday (Oct. 14).
