Lukas Eggenberger is a joint PhD student at both the Risk and Resilience research laboratory at the Jacobs Center for Productive Youth Development (PI: Prof. Lilly Shanahan) and the Experimental and Clinical Pharmacopsychology laboratory at the Psychiatric University Hospital Zurich (PI: Prof. Boris Quednow). He completed his BSc and MSc in Psychology at the University of Zurich, where he also worked as a student research assistant at the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy. His master's thesis and the majority of his previous research focused on the association of traditional masculinity ideologies and men's mental health. His current research is centered on understanding the impact of adolescent substance use on cognition and real-life functioning.
